Surfing on a Banana Peel
- a raw vegan jello alternative -
2 tbsp. of agar-agar flakes
2 cups of water
2 cups of your favorite fruit juice (apple, grape, cranberry)
1.Combine water with juice into a pot, add agar-agar flakes. 2.Stir well and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
3.Quickly add in blackberries, raspberries and banana slices.
4.Place in dish or mold and let chill in refrigerator.
You can use any combination of fruits and juices for this recipe to cater to your taste.
Agar is a good source of calcium and iron, and is very high in fiber. It contains no sugar, no fat and no carbohydrates. It is known for its ability to aid in digestion and weight loss. It carries toxic waste out of the body.
