Surfing on a Banana Peel
- dressing up a salad in a healthy way -
1 cup of organic goat yogurt
1 cup of flaxseed oil
2 tablespoons whole flaxseeds
(other of your favorite salad item)
1.Add organic goat yogurt and flaxseed oil and blend for 5 minutes.
2. Add flaxseeds and blend for 1 more minute.
3. Mix salad ingredients in a bowl, add any of your favorite veggies.
4. Top salad with flaxseed dressing.
Flaxseed oil/dressing must be refrigerated
Regular intake of small portions of flax seeds in the diet helps to lower total as well as LDL or “bad cholesterol” and increases HDL or “good cholesterol” levels in the blood. It is also one of the top vegetable sources of omega-3 essential fatty acids.
